Hey there! Thanks for dropping by my blog. 🙂
Who am I?
I’m a 22-year old realistic dreamer. DLSU-M Alumnae. I have short attention span and most of the time I don’t get to finish projects that I start working on. I’ve had a couple of blogs before and I abandoned them eventually.
I’m an impulsive but stubborn person who can’t resist a really good bargain.
Why Do I blog?
One of the reasons why I started this blog is to change my habit of leaving things unfinished. I want to commit myself to doing something and seeing it through the end. I also want to share my point of view when it comes to fashion, beauty, travel, books, art and the like.
What’s your style?
My style is ever evolving, although I tend to “use to death” whatever pieces I am currently into. Victims of this habit are usually bags and shoes. I don’t have a definite style. I have these phases on what I feel like wearing until I get tired of it or what my mood dictates.
I live by these 3 fashion rules:
1. Attention to detail
2. Always work with your body type
3. Stick to your personal style
When it comes to fashion, I find that every tiny detail composes the entire look you’re going for. The style of the necklace, the shade of your pants, and the use of a belt (wide or narrow) can make or break your outfit. Chunky accessories and heels can dress up even the rattiest shirt and shorts combination. It’s all about balancing.
Generally, when it comes to adapting to trends, I try to incorporate fresh and trendy pieces with my personal style. I also make sure that it flatters my body type. Trends fade but style is eternal. How does this work? Think forward to 10 years. When you look at your photos from 2013, will you be cringing at the horrific neon clothes you’re wearing or will you be thinking that you look good in that dress?
What’s my beauty philosophy?
Skincare is important. I wouldn’t mind splurging on moisturizers, cleansers, face creams and serums.
Makeup, on the other hand is a different matter altogether. I don’t have sensitive skin so I don’t mind using inexpensive makeup, so long it’s not from a questionable brand or shop. I do have a lot of high-end makeup that I love, but it makes me happy when I find good quality makeup at such affordable prices. Besides, hunting up inexpensive products is half the fun in beauty!
