It Never Ends

July 7, 2011

This is a rather long winded post.

I recommend you read it if you aren’t in hurry. ๐Ÿ™‚

I just want to share what pieces I am currently

lusting/drooling over. haha :))

And of course a little anecdote about yours truly.

—–

I’ve never been one to follow trends just for the sake of being in fashion.

If ever I do buy new clothes, it’s because I really want to wear them

and it suits me. ย Though I admit to buying stuff that I really like

even when I doubt it looks good on me. :))

I just couldn’t help it.

——

The thing is, we are never really satisfied with what we have.

We will always want more than what we already got.

No wonder shopping malls are still popping up all over the metro. :))

—–

Okay, that’s enough mind wandering.

—-

I remember the time when “Gypsy” skirts were all the rage

back when I was still in High school.

I flatly refused to even try one on.

I was too into my edgy/rocker phase back then and

I abhor wearing skirts that go past my knees

(school uniform aside).

—-

It was way too girly for me (shudder).

I was, for the life of me, never and I do

mean NEVER EVER drawn to girly pastels,

lacy pinks (gah, I hate pink clothes) and bows.

—-

I yearn to BURN all of my photos back in prep and kinder

when my yaya used to pull my hair, or what’s left of it because

I had really short hair back then, into tiny pigtails and clip all sorts

of hair accessories that have huge lacy hats in it or rainbow colored tassels

that could compete with Jolina Magdangal’s accessories back in

the 1990’s. ๐Ÿ˜

And I am rambling again.

Back to the topic.

I never wore skirts that went past my knees.

I don’t know why, it just repulses me. ๐Ÿ™‚

That is until I saw maxi skirts.

Now I can’t seem to0 stop looking for new ones.

For the longest time, I’ve been wanting

box-pleated maxi skirts in deep violet, pale yellow,

emerald green, teal and royal blue.

I just can’t find any!

I’m thinking of having a friend make some for me. ๐Ÿ˜€

aren’t these lust-worthy? :))

I really want one (or five LOL) so badly! ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Anyhoo, I’ve stopped wearing pants (almost).

I used to wear them everyday but now

that I got used to wearing skirts, shorts and leggings,

pants feels too constricting.

Is it just me or do you feel like this too?

For the past three years, I think

I’ve worn pants only ten times, even less. ๐Ÿ˜

But that’s gonna change when I get my hands into

a pair of wide legged pants like this pair

that Blake Lively is rocking with a loose tank top.

ย oh to be so effortlessly chic

or maybe a longer version like this:

I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with this

chiffon/crepe like material.

I wouldn’t mind if it’s jersey fabrics though. ๐Ÿ˜€

I like them brightly colored and flowy.

Or maybe in peach, navy blue and nude.

Classic colors that aren’t boring.

—-

And one last thing!

I want a Cambridge Batchel!

I’ve been dreaming of aย 15″ย vintage brown

or the ย purple.

Most of the time

I dislike buying stuff that almost everyone has

or wants but I’m making an exception for these gorgeous bags!

and the satchels….

Can you resist these bags?

They look so good laid out like this!

If only I’m stinking rich, I’d buy one in every color and size! :))

I wasn’t supposed to buy one yet because I couldn’t

decide if I want the brown or purple

but I passed by a Chocolate Schu Bar in Trinoma and I just had

to take a look at the batchels and poof!

Snap decision, I ordered a 15″ Purple batchel! :))

So much for my savings.

I promise to write a post as soon as I get it. ๐Ÿ™‚

—-

Self control ย is GONE from my vocab. :((

Even my mom knows her wallet is doomed when

I’m torn between two items I really want because

I just can’t pick which one I want more

and she’ll end up buying both! :))

Sigh.

It’s fun being a girl.

If only it wasn’t so expensive. :))

XOXO

Erika

A friend of mine found pleated skirts in gorgeous colors at Ziya. It’s a small clothing store in MOA. ๐Ÿ™‚
